Product Story
General Product Information
This is an art panel made of Japanese paper. These art panels are the only two of its kind in the world, and are individually handmade by craftsmen who put in a lot of time and effort. We created these art panels with the hope that people living in the city can also feel nature. Please try to feel nature through Washi paper!
Product History
When did these crafts start to craft?:1300 years ago / 700AD / Yamato period in Japan
The history of Mino Washi is long, and the Shosoin (Japan's oldest treasure house built over 1200 years ago) has the oldest existing paper in Japan, which is a family register paper. Later, with the spread of paper, demand for high-quality Mino washi increased, and it has earned the highest reputation as a high-grade paper for shoji screens. In modern times, it has been introduced to foreign countries through the World Expositions in Vienna and Paris.
