Product Story

General Product Information

This work was inspired by the legend that a tiger guarded the apricot grove of the ancient Chinese doctor Dong Feng.
Kurotani washi paper, lightly dyed with watercolor, is used for the paper cutouts. The base paper is dyed with sumi ink, and the natural blotting is beautiful. By partially floating the paper cutouts and attaching them to the mount, the work becomes three-dimensional, accentuating the delicacy of the paper cutouts.

Marked on the screen and signed on the reverse (wooden frame, acrylic board)
