It will make your room more gorgeous even if you display it as interior decoration. Why not incorporate Edo faceting into your daily life?
*Please note that there may be air bubbles or rust at the base of the rod during the glass blowing process. These crafts are hand-crafted so please enjoy the each difference as the part of the pattern!
Product History
When did these crafts start to craft?:200 years ago / 1834AD / Edo period in Japan
Edo faceting (Called Edo kiriko) is a glass craft made in Tokyo, Japan. It is said that it was first made in the late Edo period (1834AD) by a certain vidro wholesaler, who worked on the surface of glass. In 1881, an English cut glass engineer, Emanuel Hoptman, taught the technique of English cut glass, which was fused into the Edo faceting technique.
