At Suigenkyo, we deliver Japan's finest traditional crafts directly from the artisans' workshops to your doorstep worldwide. Please review our shipping terms, delivery timelines, and international tax policies below.

Shipping Rates and Free Shipping Threshold

  • Orders over 300 USD qualify for free international shipping.

  • Orders under 300 USD will incur a shipping fee, which is automatically calculated at checkout based on the package weight and your destination country.

Import Duties, Taxes, and Custom-Related Cancellations (Crucial Notice)

At the checkout, all customers are required to verify and check the following acknowledgment before placing an order: "I understand that import duties and taxes are not included in the total and may be collected by my local customs office upon delivery."

As all purchases are completed with your explicit prior consent to this term, please strictly note the following rules:

  • We absolutely do not accept any order cancellations, returns, or refunds due to a customer's refusal to pay local customs duties, import taxes, or VAT.

  • The payment of any local import duties, customs clearance fees, and VAT remains the sole legal responsibility of the customer.

  • All customs duties, local taxes, and clearance processing fees are completely non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • We highly recommend checking your local customs office website in advance to estimate potential fees prior to finalizing your order.

  • EMS (Express Mail Service) The specific carrier will be selected by Suigenkyo based on the destination and item characteristics to optimize safety and delivery speed.

Dispatch and Delivery Timelines

  • In-Stock Items: Orders for items currently in stock will be processed and dispatched from Japan within approximately 1 week.

  • Out-of-Stock and Made-to-Order Items: Many of our products are unique masterpieces or made-to-order by traditional artisans. Production timelines vary significantly depending on the product. Please check the specific Delivery Date listed under the Material and Caution section on each individual product details page.
