Founded in 1959 by Yukio Nemoto. After surviving World War II, he established his own glass studio at the age of 23. In his later years, he become the first person in the Edo Kiriko industry to receive the Medal with Yellow Ribbon (One of the medals of honor that Japanese government awards). Today, his son and grandson, the second and third generations, have inherited his passion and techniques.
